The Seething Trycyclingathon - Sunday 11th September 2016

This event is for everyone who rides

or wants to get back on a bicycle.

Three different routes have been suggested to suit the different levels of fitness and confidence of each cyclist - or you can just cycle where you want to. The important thing is for everyone to end up back at Claremont Gardens in Surbiton where we can celebrate. Just register your interest by using the box on the top right.

The Experienced Ride will start at 10am and finish at approximately 1pm. The suggested route takes in some of the beautiful countryside and incorporating some of the Olympic cycling route but you can go where you like. (approx 44 miles)

The Family Ride will start at 11.30 and finish at approximately 1pm. The suggested route is a gentler ride alongside the river crossing the river twice and taking in roads, park and riverbank. (approx 10 miles)

The Fancy Dress or Vintage Ride will start at 11.45 and finish at approximately 1.15pm.

(approx 5 miles)

This is an opportunity to cycle your vintage, custom or classic bike and wear your finest classic period cycling clothes (Victorian, Edwardian, Steampunk - or whatever you want) or fancy dress and enjoy a ‘tip top’ ride around Seething in the fresh air until the cheeks redden.

A route that incorporates local points of historical interest with a brief stop for a cup of tea has been designed for your delectation and pleasure

You should be able to store your clothes and other equipment at Glenmore House by Claremont Gardens whilst you cycle. So why not bring along a picnic and enjoy a light lunch or enjoy the fabulous food and bar after your ride on the delightful Claremont Gardens

and listen to gentle entertainment as you relax after

a mornings exercise. Perhaps your family and friends (if you have any) may join you to celebrate your achievement
